- JEL APPLIES FOR DOD ELAP/ISO 17025 CERTIFICATION - Sep 12
Jupiter Environmental Laboratories is pleased to announce their participation in the rigorous DOD ELAP and ISO 17025 certification process for both laboratory and field services. These prestigious certifications provide clients assurance of JEL’s commitment to the highest level of quality. The laboratory accreditation process will be conducted by Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation, Inc. (PJAL) during October 2012 and is anticipated to be completed by year end. PJAL has issued a letter of pending certification that may be used for biding purposes on Federal contracts.

Jupiter Environmental Laboratories once again received a 100% passing score on bi-annual Proficiency Test studies for over 540 compounds in non potable water, soil, and drinking water. CARLSBAD, Calif., March 10, 2009 – Applied Biosystems, a division of Life Technologies (NASDAQ: LIFE), today announced that scientists at Jupiter Environmental Laboratories in Florida are using a mass spectrometry solution to support the environmental restoration of the once pristine waterways of the Florida Everglades. These scientists are using this technology as part of their support of the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan, a government-sponsored effort to restore, protect and preserve the water resources of central and southern Florida.
